Obituary

Alfred C. Cote, 42, passed away unexpectedly at home, Tuesday, February 7, 2006. He leaves his parents, Alfred L. and Karen F. (Carlson) Cote of Baltimore, MD; his maternal grandmother, Frances Carlson of Beaumont Nursing Home, Westboro, formerly of Shrewsbury; his loving son, Matthew A. Cote of Hubbardston; his brother, David F. Cote and his wife Lisa M. of Worcester; his sister, Sharon K. Callahan and her husband Jeffrey of Virginia Beach, VA; his brother, Joseph E. Cote of Webster; his sister, Jennifer A. Harney and her husband Brendan J. Harney, Jr. of Thompson, CT; his sister Mary E. Fink and her husband Jarod of Baltimore, MD; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. A daughter, Melyssa A. Cote predeceased him.

Al was born in Worcester and grew up in Leicester, where he was a graduate of Leicester High School. He was an avid sports fan, cheering for the Red Sox, Patriots, Celtics, and Bruins and involved in his son's athletics. He worked at Dillon Boiler, Fitchburg and CPS Construction, Lynn. Al will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Funeral services will be held at Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, Saturday, Feb. 11, at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be private. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home TODAY, Feb. 10, from 5-8 p.m. Contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the Matthew A.
