Obituary

Worcester: Alan "A.J." Howard, Jr. 44, passed away peacefully after a short illness on July 13, 2025 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center, Memorial Campus surrounded by is loving family. He leaves his mother Kathleen "Kathie" Milne; a brother Scott, a sister Sarah, an aunt, several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his grandparents Lillian (Senecal) Milne and Gordon B. Milne.

A.J was born in Worcester and will be remembered for his beautiful smile, laughter, and sense of humor. He enjoyed spending time with the family pets, helium balloons, and listening to music. He also attended Seven Hills.

The family would like to give special thanks to both of A.J.'s caregivers for their compassionate care over the years.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. in Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. Worcester, MA 01605. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery in Rutland. For directions or to leave an online condolence message, please click guestbook link.
