Obituary

Ada Geraldine (Reynolds) Stromberg, 92, formerly of Worcester, passed away on Friday, May 27, 2016, at the Wilson Medical Center in Johnson City, New York. She leaves two daughters, Carol A. and her husband Charles Barker of Greene, NY, and Nancy E. Marmat of Rochester, NY; four grandchildren, Kristina, Emily, Micah, and Kyle; 8 great-grandchildren and 1 on the way, James, Mathew, Leah, Ray, Scot, Tiffany, Lucy, Nia, and Charlotte who is due in July. She was predeceased by her husband of 24 years, Carl F. Stromberg; a sister, Ruth Reynolds; and two grandsons, Curtis Aaron (d. 1983) and Scot (d. 2009). Geraldine was born in Fort Fairfield, Maine, daughter of the late Guy and Marie (Dionne) Reynolds. She graduated from high school in 1943 and dedicated her life to raising her family. Gerry lived in Worcester, MA for most of her life until moving to Norwich, New York in 2013. She was a member of Pleasant Street Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, crossword puzzles, and listening to her Gaither tapes.

Burial was private in Grove Cemetery, Holden, MA.
